Prince George RCMP are currently searching the North Kelly Road area for two people believed to be involved in an armed car-jacking that occurred earlier this morning.
The incident began on March 13, 2024 around 1:00 a.m., when two people were robbed of their vehicle by two unknown men with firearms. The vehicle was located by police abandoned a short time later.
We currently have Frontline police officers, a Police Dog Services unit and the RCMP helicopter searching for these individuals. The North District Emergency Response Team is also en route to provide support in this investigation. These men are believed to be armed and dangerous. We are asking that if anyone in the area sees anything suspicious or believes they have seen these two individuals, to immediately call 9-1-1 with the information, states Cpl. Jennifer Cooper, Media Relations Officer for the Prince George RCMP.

Police officers have notified the nearby elementary school of the ongoing search in the area.
